Question:

A Question for the Hillary Supporters?

Does Hillary really want Obama to win? If he does, this would cause her to have to wait 8 years to run again. If McCain wins she could run in 4 years. With the way Obama dis-respected her by picking Biden don't you think she will cast her vote for McCain in November.

  1. Will Hillary vote against her own self interests at the expense of her party, or will she vote for her party at the expense of her own self-interest? That is the question to which we will never know the answer.

  2. Anything is possible. We will never know since her vote will be cast in private.

  3. Well, the one true honest answer is that, while we can't really get inside her head, all the logic and headwinds point to her not really wanting Obama to win.

But she cannot be seen as NOT supporting Obama, so she will do the necessary public gestures to make everyone think she is for Obama, while Bill will be in the background as the "uniter".  He does this by praising Obama AND McCain, thereby nullifying any added momentum to Obama.  Once Obama loses, 2012 is Hillary's.

  4. Oh, Beverly....quit trying to McBush your way into Hillary voter's hearts. You know you just want your candidate to win and could care less about Hillary voters.

Hillary stands firmly with Obama, and unlike your candidate, wouldn't choose to side with someone just to gain popularity: see-Sarah Palin. Further, Hillary believes to her core that women's rights need to be upheld...something both your President and VP strongly oppose. Your candidate and his VP stand for everything Hillary is against. Hillary stands on the principles she believes in. She stands with Obama.

  5. Hillary has wanted to be the first female President for 30+ years. She has worked toward that goal. If Obama wins, he will likely get 8 years. That will make her too old to run. She can still run in 2012 so I would think Hillary has to hope that Obama doesn't win. Nothing personal, just politics.

  6. I'm a Hillary detractor, but I'll weigh in.

I would love to know what she and her inner circle are thinking.  Palin has turned the whole race upside down.

Say Obama wins. He will probably s***w up, in which case she would be the logical choice for the 2012 Democratic Party.  But does she face an electorate sour on the Democrats?  Does she face the return of Sarah Palin, with 4 more years as governor under her belt?  On the off chance Obama gets elected and doesn't s***w up, then Hillary waits for 2016.

If McCain wins, odds are he will be a one term president.  If he does poorly, then Hillary has a great shot and probably against someone other than Palin.  But if McCain's administration does well, then Hillary could face Sarah Palin.

She is very savvy, but I've got to believe she is not yet sure how to game this.

  7. No one can know...but I wouldn't blame her if she did.

  8. I think that's a given. She has to make all the right moves to keep her hopes alive, but I bet she and Bill vote for McCain.

  9. Of course she will vote for McCain.....bd

  10. since clinton is close to obama now then if obama will get assassinated then clinton will take over obama's position.

  11. With a neocon christian fundamentalist with no national or foreign experience as vp??  I don't think Hillary would risk that for this country.

    Not the christian taliban.

  12. No, and any Hillary supporter that votes McShame is stabbing Hillary in the back.

  13. Hillary is sitting pretty.

If she plays nice and becomes a "good" democrat, she can't lose.

If Obama wins, she gets a Supreme Court nomination.

If Obama loses, she becomes the defacto 2012 Democratic Presidential Candidate.

  14. No not really!  She's avoiding to cover his back in many ways.

  15. Hillary supporters are Democrats.

Obama is the de facto leader of the Democratic Party.

    Do the math.

    And stop asking ridiculous questions.

And some of the 'speculation' here is equally ridiculous.

  16. I don't believe she supports Obama   Some of her top aides have already publicly come out to support McCain.

  17. Please! Please! And one more please like that big black lady on the view please!

If Hillary wanted Obama to win, she would have accepted his offer to be his running mate- wa?

Yeah that's right, I said he asked her- obviously she's the right choice, not that chicken $h!t Joe Biden. I bet you she screwed him over just so he would either lose on purpose or not get re-elected in 2012, since we all know neither candidate will.

She's gonna come back in 4 years and knock him out of the primaries just like McGovern did with Carter and Taft did with Roosevelt (yeah, old school conventions).

  18. Hopes she does vote for McCain but a persons vote is their business not anyone elses.

  19. No she isn't as egotistical as that.  She has proven that already

  20. Hilary lost so who cares if she wants Obama to win. If her supporter are so stupid to vote for McCain just because she lost and he has a woman, then they were supporting her for the wrong reason. Why is ok for women to be die hard supports of Hillary and it's called an empowering woman movement but when blacks support Obama it's called racism.
