If you own a tape that's copy protected, how do you put it on DVD? Please help. I'm very desperate for answers. I own 3 tapes that are copy protected and I want to put them on DVD, but I can't and I certainly don't know what to do in this situation.

  1. BUY a video stabilizer - $200.

  2. Hi Baxter Stockman,

You can legally back up your own VHS tapes and you don't have to spend $200.

You will have to get a device like "Sima T120 GoDVD". It removes the copy guard and enhances the picture. You plug your source into it and plug it into the input of your recorder.

Here is an example of one - http://www.heartlandamerica.com/browse/i...

Another one that will work is the Digital Video Stabilizer.  They work like a charm and it's only $25. Go here to read about and see an example - http://www.qualitekindustries.com/vidsta...
