Can Anyone Recommend a Romantic Weekend Getaway a few hours outside of Buenos Aires?

Take the Ferry BUQUEBUS to Colonia del Sacramento

It is URUGUAY (not Argentina) but you would not notice. Is Beautiful, colonial, good food, and a river crossing on one of the largest Deltas of the world. Forgive the coffe colour water!

Yes, definitely think about going to Colonia del Sacramento (and make sure you pay a bit more to take the fast ferry).  Also, you could go to Pinamar or Villa Gessell.  Both are a few hours drive away and are fun, small beach towns.  You can have good meals, days on the beach, horseback riding, a cozy hotel, etc.

If this is your first time in Buenos Aires, you will fall in love. BA is a perfect city for a romantic escapade, the architecture, tango clubs, little coffee places in Recoleta and Palermo, the siphistication of Alvear,Santa Fe and the cosmopolitan flair of Puerto Madero.

You have many choices, all kind of restaurants, theatres, shoppings and spa's.
