  1. Colts won the superbowl.

  2. Colts won the superbowl.

Switzerland is land locked and relies heavily on their neighbors for access as well as it's citizens, many of whom come from these neighboring countries.  The swiss then became a country of German and French speaking people, and later, English as well.  Dialects are part of any country, yet Swiss German is considered a language of it's own.

  3. Indiannapolis

    Italian for the Ticino

French for Jura, Neuchâtel, Vaud, Genève, Fribourg, Valais

and German for the another states

  4. The colts!!

In the North (Zurich, Basel) : German

In The East (Roman, tradionnal of switzerland, but everybody speaks german)

    In the South : Italian

In the West (Geneva, Lausanne) : French

And Geneva is the most cosmopolit town in the world

  5. Hmm.. i think in the old history Swiss is just small region which is consist of some cantones, the rest were still part of Germany, France and Italy. When it's expanded, Swiss which has no main language itself (I'm not sure about the Raeto Rumancsh) has 3 region with 3 different language spoken. That's my idea...

And... Superbowl? If you meant NFL, then it's INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

  6. I lived in switzerland for 3 months and there are 4 languages spoken in switzerland, with the majority of the public speaking in German. French is second, Italian is third and the native language of Rommanish is last. Rommanish is an old native tounge of switzerland, and only a few thousand people there speak it, and if you run into a person that can speak it, he will most likely talk to you in another language like french or german.

the western part of switzerland speaks french, the eastern and northern parts speak german, and the southern part speaks itallian.

these languages are spoken in these regions due to the settelers there from the first world war. as many of you know that switzerland is a neutral countery, and a lot of people in europe fled there to aviod the war.

and the colts killed the bears in the superbowl!!!

  7. hey there, as a swiss I can give you the following answer: 60 % of the swiss speak a swiss (for example in zurich and basel and bern) german a strong dialect which is differs in switzerland very strongly swiss people can understand the different dialects but germans dont have a chance;-) 20 % speak french (in geneva and lausanne) and 8 % speak Italian (in tecino) 1 % speaks roman (spoken in the mountains of graubuenden.

    cheers
