okay in the book why does francie give up writing? I have read the book but don't quite understand why she does this. and please any additional info is great! oh yeah I'm a freshmen.

Here is a website called "Spark Notes" and It tells you whats happening in all of the chapters and it gives you the summary of the book and stuff. This is good is you "forget" to read a book you are supposed to. : ]
