Question:

A Unusual Teacher Dream... Please Help Me!?

I had two very strange dreams. They sort of make sense when they go together.

Here is my first dream and the setting was at my school's gym. My teacher who we were aware had a girlfriend opened the doors to the gym. He was crying and the principal announced that his girlfriend had died from diabetes. He said he was going to ask her to marry him in 3 weeks.

The second one, was in the hallway of my school. I was walking to my French class where I saw my teacher again this time wearing a purple skirt and white button-up shirt. He was wearing a ring that had colourful diamonds on it so it looked like a rainbow. He looked very happy and he said he got married. In real life, his girlfriend/fiancee dumped him so he was a little depressed. He doesn't have anyone and I feel concerned about my teacher. Now, I think he is confused and he thinks he's g*y. Please explain to me what these dreams mean!

  1. One opinion:  Your dreaming conscious, which is your waking subconscious, has cast your teacher as "g*y."  This might enable you safely to "mother" him, or regard him as sympathy object.  That may be how your subconscious is thinking/feeling (it's often more childlike, more dramatic).

Purple skirt is royal color, color of change and soul.

Rainbow is all the colors of our sensibility, Noah's sign of safe passage.

If your teacher ACTUALLY thinks he's g*y, then he's got a "gender identity confusion" problem, and if you only know he thinks this by hearsay, then that is not necessarily reliable.  (Men typically don't tell many people about their sexuality shtick.)

You might, if he told you first-hand, or if you are really good friends, hand him a copy of "Soul Mates and Twin Flames," Elizabeth Clare Prophet, or "For Men Only," Shaunti Feldhahn.  These are both ethical, clean authors, with a good deal of insight.  (Shaunti also has written "For Women Only," also popular.)

  2. Are you about to graduate or leave the school?  It does not sound like you are having feelings for this teacher, but everything is related your teacher losing something important to him.    Are you transferring your fears of leaving into a dream about your teachers reality?
