A/V out to USB?

Question

i have a sony handicam that does not have a USB PORT.

I have a A/V out to RCA

I want to buy a converter.

From A/V out to USB cable

where can i find something like this?

This is called a capture device and most retail stores carry one variation or the other.

If your camcorder is a MiniDV you should be using firewire to capture your video.  If your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card.  They're cheap, easy to install and readily available.  You'll also need a firewire cable.  This will give you much better quality than using the A/V output.

If you've got an older analog model then you'll need something like the Pinnacle Dazzle or one of the Kworld devices.
