Is it possible for a virus, any virus, not related to Mono, or cancer, or anything like that.. just a virus... is it possible for it to last 7 months? It has gotten to the point now where all my lymph glands are tender and slightly swollen, even in the groin area... docs still say upper respiratory virus of some sort. No tests have been ran, just examinations. I'm beginning to really worry here.

  1. Consult with a gynaecologist-He/She will give you better advice.Don't do any self medication.

  2. Yes, a virus can last seven months or longer.

Do you continue to have respiratory symptoms? Could they be caused by Asthma, not related to the lymphatic system symptoms you describe? Have you told your Dr about the lymphatic system symptoms you experience and how long you have had these symptoms?

You may need a special work-up including blood tests to determine cause of symptoms.

Return to Dr. If dissatisfied go to another Dr for second opinion.

    Hope you feel better soon.

  3. You need to tell ur doctor that its been going on for 7 months and if they dont listen go to another doctor thats not normal...and if they do find something.sue the other doctor
