Dear readers I want to become a doctor/surgeon when I finish Medical School. I want to "hit the ground running", or be ahead of the crowd, when I get into college/medical school. What are some good books/websites where I can learn about anatomy of the human body, what symptoms are what sicknesses, How to preform surgeries. etc. I really want to be ahead of my game and I would like to start now. Thank You.

  1. There's no point in giving you those textbooks now. It's like giving calculus to a 1st grader. You need to build the foundation first. If you're truly serious, start volunteering in hospitals and learn what each doctor, nurse, and staff does at each position. See how the department runs. If you're in high school, start studying physiology. If you're in college, take the basic class called Anatomy & Physiology (A&P). It's the most basic class that you can start with.
