Question:

A Work Out/Exercise Plan For 300 Pound Person?

I have kids, I work at home. I need an activity (pilates, yoga, something that can be done inside everyday).

It can't be too strenuous, I'm pushing 300 pounds people. Something simple to learn.

Nothing to purchase either, I'M A MOM, expenses are tight!

So common videos are okay...

Thanks.

  2. I'd suggest just concentrating on eating healthily for now.  You can lose a lot of weight if you commit to just eating right.  Don't stray and you'll start seeing and feeling results within the month.  I promise.

    Eat the following:

Meat (including eggs, bacon and sausage)

    Vegetables

    Fruit

    Dairy (cheese, skim milk)

    Don't eat:

    Breads

    Pasta

    Starches (potatoes, corn)

    Beans

Now, surprise!  You CAN have dessert:

    Vanilla Ice Cream

    Chocolate syrup

    Whipped Cream

Nuts, Cherries, Bananas - make a sundae!

    Pudding

Just as long as there's no bread or crust, you're good!

  3. interval training!

  4. Well, exercise alone won't be the complete solution to weight loss. You should cut all excess sugary and processed foods out of your diet.

Another diet pitfall for moms is that they tend to nibble off their kids plates  when they're finished- so don't do that. Cutting red meat out of your diet will also help.

As for exercise, try to fit in little bits here and there all the time. Do squats while waiting for something to come out of the microwave, take a quick walk around the block with your kids. Heck, even chewing gum burns 11 calories an hour- all the little things add up.

Also, I know you said finances are limited but investing in a mini trampoline would be a good exercise tool. Its easy of the joints and your kids will like it too.

Good Luck. If you need more advice send me a message.

  5. If I were you I would not get into a exercise program without a professional opinion. I'm sure you could go on line and ask for some free advice on what exercise routine would be best for you at your present weight. You really should have your family Doctor check you and make sure it would be safe to begin an exercise program. In the meantime walking and moderate exercise would probably be your best bet. Why don't you try Richard Simmons videos, he actually specializes in exercise for people who have a little more weight to lose. Also remember to follow a healthy well balanced diet and not starve yourself because that will not be long lasting and doomed for failure. I wish you all the best and Good luck.
