  1. Well first  learn how to spell. No CNA, LVN, RN will get anywhere in life without proper grammar. Once that is done with go to cramster.com they have a variety of book selection with solved problems.

  2. It's "Websites" and "googled".

    No wonder you're failing.

  3. Well, there isn't a one-for-all purpose for note taking that will satisfy everyone; only you can have an idea of what works best for you. For example, in my case, I don't usually use the notes taken in class, only if they have someting special in them (e.g, a question that'll be on the test or a similar problem to that of the homework). However, I personally think that your note-taking is not the complete reason why you are failing. In my opinion, you have to put more time into school, and make sure you learn what you're supposed to learn; if you get stuck somewhere, your best option is to go to your teacher and ask for help. You must also work hard and be willing to work hard. If you're serious about raising your grades, you must put school as priority number one, making as much time as you deem necessary for it. Keep in mind the formula which has always helped me:

    Hard Work + Dedication= Success

    I hope this helps :)

  4. tape your classes and take notes on the main topics. listen to tapes for small things you might have missed. just make sure you get all the major points without getting your mind bogged down with rubbish

  5. Yes - it is spelled "websites" now get away from me with that needle.

  6. TAKE ADDERALL!!!!

  7. I wouldn't be surprised if that was not the reason for your C's. What are you getting the C's for? Essays? Then it's not study skills and possibly not notetaking skills, but your essay writing. Many students get to college without learning how to write an academic essay properly. Go and speak to one of your tutors. That's what they are there for. They should be able to talk you through your issues to identify the real problem and make suggestions to help you improve. If you can't get the help you need from a tutor, see your lecturer. There are some things we learn better from having a live person explain. So, don't be whimpy! Go see your tutor! Even crusty old lecturers are usually quite personable up close :) And they'd much rather spend some time talking things through with you than talk to a sea of blank faces every class. They find that very discouraging.
