I have been seaching for websites, contact numbers even people on the web to find a boy who has been adopted many years ago from the 70's. He is a man now but i have no way in knowing basic information from him because its been so long and for all i know his name could've been changed as well. I've posted up up queries in some websites but there seems to be no hope. I've been serching for quite a while now and i have read some where around that you have been reunited with a loved one. Is there any chance you can help me do the same ...or some way to go through this process?.....i could surely use it even if it seem hopeless.....

thank you

  1. If you know the orphanage where he was before he was adopted, perhaps you could inquire there.

  2. good luck in yur search. that is greati wish i could help you i have found mine (relatives) they actually sisters really didn't want me around. the parents died long time ago and so there i am. have found 1/2 sister and we're not of same upbringing so its hard to be with her. take care and good luck

  3. hay sorry for your loss. i have a suggestion if you have a name you think he might be going by you could try going onto www.facebook.com and see if he is a member there. On facebook you  can find friends and family. it is a long shot but  worth the try. i wish you the best of  luck.

  4. Rose51, are you this child's mother?

  5. My birthmother found the adoption agency that took me in, and they've contacted me letting me know that she's written a letter and attached photos with it.

I'm not sure how you know this baby boy, but perhaps if you can find out which hospital he was born, and the adoption agency that took him in.

  6. what state please? either contact me or edit your post and put it up and i'll add in some information : )

  7. There is hope.  There is always hope.  Never give up hope!

As an adoptee I would be so happy to welcome any member of my family finding me

Have you registered and searched every reunion registry on the net.

    http://registry.adoption.com/

    http://www.isrr.net/

Have you registered with the State

Can you edit your question a little to say which state, please

  8. Keep on at the ISRR until you get an answer. Try the adoptions agencies in the area that you gave birth. Don't give up and also try every avenue until all are exhausted. I am looking for my birth mother who had me in 1975 which I found out years ago from births, deaths and marriages but then I lost the info. I am searching again as I am 32 now and would love to find out about her and maybe even meet her. Good luck and god bless. :)

  9. Are you his birth mom?  Aunt? Other relative? First contact the agency that handled the adoption and let them know that you are open to contact. Provide your current contact information and fill out any forms they require.

Second, put your information and any information you have about him - his birth name, date, place, etc., on the International Soundex Reunion Registry @  http://www.isrr.net/

Then, go to the state he was born in and see if they have a reunion registry as well.  Provide the same information.

Six states provide original birth certificates. What state was he born in? Do you have his date of birth? City? County? Hospital?  Write down all the information that you DO have and begin there.

Good luck! E-mail me and I'll be happy to provide more help.
