A baby is not the same as Paris Hilton's dog?

Teens getting pregnant or not taking precautions against pregnancy do they can be like all the celeb trend setters who carry babies around like prada bags? Have you kids thought about what life will be like when your child is seven and has problems at school because he's acting out after mommy tells him his dad was some homeless guy and he was only born out of rebellion? Oh thats right, my tax dollar will go to pay for his counseling. Anyone else appauled at this?

You must be talking about that Associated Press story. And ya, I am COMPLETELY appalled!!

I had my first daughter when I was 17 (now 27) and I have struggled every day with this. And to see these stupid stupid girls actually doing it on PURPOSE?!?!?! It just blows my mind. I don't buy that stuff that the celebrities and the media are to blame. That's a total cop-out. It's the parents of these girls who are at fault.

idots but the school said most of the girls who got pregnant have hard lives and they wanted someone to love them.i got pregnant at 18 and its no walk in the park.

I'm sick of my tax dollar going to programs to educate kids born to older mothers. (much higher rate of autism, learning disabilities, health problems)  Don't they know they should have had kids when their bodies were ready, not their wallets?

Sounds terrible, doesn't it?  So why is the reverse ok?

It's not your business.  Babies are blessings, even when they go to young and old mommys.  Perhaps you should ask yourself why a new life is so irritating to you.  

It's the role of the old to criticize the young, but is that really helping the young?  Get a hobby and quit worrying about what other people are doing.

Oh, and I was a young mom.  My son is healthy and happy, I'm now married to the father and we've not taken a dime from the state.  

I get mean stares sometimes, and it hurts.  I love being a mom, but I dislike people like you judging things that really aren't your business.
