  1. use this formulas:

    g=-9.8m/sec^2

    t=V2 - V1

       -----------

        gravity

    d=V2 - V1

       ------------

         (2)(g)


  2. Disregarding air resistance, it takes 6.386 seconds to hit the ground. In the first second it falls 4.905 m.

  3. distance = (1/2)(9.81)(t)^2

    200 = (0.5)(9.81)t^2

    t = sqrt(200 / (0.5*9.81)) = 6.39 seconds.

    part 2...

    distance = (1/2)a*t^2 = (1/2)(9.81)(1)^2 = 4.91 m
