  1. The best thing to do is ice it... 20 min on and 20 min off just keep alternating.  As far as speeding up the process, just stay off it for a couple days.  Dont skip you ballet class just sit out and watch.  Talk to you teacher before you sit because you dont want them to think your just slacking! tell them that you are injured and they should be okay with it, besides dancing on an injured ankle will just hurt you in the future.

  2. I love ballet as well and understand how important it is to not miss class. When someone in my class gets injured they must sit and watch the class. There is no way to really speed up the healing process besides just not walking on it too much. Definitely don't dance on it or it will get worse. Sorry but it's the only answer

  3. def. ice, and rest.

also when it feels better make sure and do some strenghthening exercises.

  4. first :

    apply ice

    second:

dont walk or dance on it for a week otherwise you could permenetly crack the bone

(you dont have to miss dance or sit out just dont apply more than12 pounds of pressure to it)
