A beam of white light shines through a glass prism in a darkened room to produce the colors of white light.?

how would the pattern on the screen change if:

a. a pure red filter were placed in the path of the beam?

b. a pure blue screen were substituted for the white screen?

c. both the red filter and blue screen were used?

please help me poh..

  1. a. A pure red filter absorbs all colors except red. The screen is dark except where the red line of the spectrum is.

    b. A pure blue screen absorb all colors but blue. The screen is bright where the blue line of the spectrum is, and dark elsewhere.

    c. Blue light doesn't get through red filter, therefore the blue screen is totally dark
