1. read this it is environmental awareness for beginners

  2. You are the future of this country...thank you socialized education!!

    As an environmentalist, you should study outdoor survival techniques for every part of the world you wish to visit/study. These techniques will also come in handy when y'all succeed in stopping the world's industry.

  3. One important thing you can do is think about the things you buy and try to buy fewer things.

    One of the current environmental problems is that there are too many people consuming too many of the earth's resources (water, soil, trees and so on).

    If you buy fewer things, use less energy and eat locally produced, "in season" food, you help preserve some of those resources.

    First ask yourself: Do you really need to buy this?

    If you do, then here are a few things to think about:

    * What is it made of?

    (plastics require a lot of energy to produce; wood may come from rainforests; cotton needs a lot of pesticides and water to grow)

    * Where was it made?

    (in some countries the workers producing the goods are paid very little and treated badly, and transporting things across the world requires lots of energy)

    * How well-made is it?

    (Will it last for along time or break quickly and need replacing? For example, some clothes are made very cheaply and wear out quickly.)

    * When it breaks/you don't need it any longer, can it be sold on, reused as something else or recycled? Or will it end up on the rubbish dump?

    Hope that helps!

  4. the main thing you should always recycle are aluminum and glass. if you can you should also recycle paper and steel.

    if you can reuse things such as plastic shopping bags as bin liners this is also good but its only helping the environment if its stopping you from buying something else.

    you probably don't go shopping but when you do you can easily reduce packaging. normally this will save you money as well.

    other then that its just replacing incandescent lights for fluros using a car less.

  5. Go to a private school, they actually have standards and are not controlled by liberals.

  6. The forest is a garbage dump full of forest wood waste. Is it right to leave a 500 year old tree lying on the ground wasting away. Tree hugger`s think so

  7. first learn to use spell check

    how's that for advice

  8. Well just start out with recycling.

    Aluminum can's , plastic bottles, newspaper.

    Basically look at your waste and see if it

    can be recycled. Another idea is look at

    your habits, do you leave your lights on

    when your not in the room. Don't leave

    the faucet running or dripping that wastes

    a lot water and money over the long run.

    When you can start driving, try to find the

    best fuel MPG you can, Honda and Toyotas

    are the best.
