A beka book school help!?

o.k what excactly would I need if I were to do A beka, homeschool, I'm in tenth grade, what would I need for tenth grade? please don't just give me the website, Ive loked and I have no clue what I would need. Thanks!!

Nope, you don't need all that :-) that's just what A Beka offers specifically for 10th grade.

Basically, you just go on their website and order what you need, according to the classes you wish to take.  Honestly, if you've decided that A Beka is the curriculum you wish to go with, I'd wait a month or so until your state convention.  Most of them take place during March, April, and May.  A Beka will almost definitely be at your convention, and you can look through the materials and order them there without having to pay shipping.

My son takes his health course through A Beka, and all I order is the actual book.  I don't feel that I need the test key, teacher manual, etc. to go through it with him, and he understands it just fine without.  For something like Algebra, it would be good to have, but other than that just order what you really need.

A Beka Academy http://www.abekaacademy.org/ also offers classes by DVD, you send your work in to them, and they assign your grades.  They also keep track of your transcript and issue a diploma.  You have to pay more for this, but it's something they offer.

I would really suggest going with your parents to your state convention and talking with the curriculum reps there - they are very knowledgeable and will be able to answer all of your questions.  You can Google your state and "homeschool convention" to get details.
