i was given a tank for bruce my betta and it came with an engine that makes bubbles. should i leave it on all the time? event at night?

Yes you can leave it on all the time, it will do no harm.  In fact it will add to the oxygen in the water which is a good thing.  Very little oxygen is absorbed from the bubbles as the reach the surface (there isn&#039;t enough time) but they will agitate the water surface which will increase the oxygen absorbed into the water.

  3. Yes leave it on at all times that is putting the oxygen into the water so that Bruce can breath.  You should also get a water filtering system it sucks water up and filters it through the tank... you don&#039;t need it burt it helps keep a cleaner environment for Bruce

  4. Leave it in and on all the time. They need air supply once they are used to it. I gave mine to a friend and they took the air bubbly thing out and it died under a week later. What a shame. It also gives them a longer life span...to any fish.

  5. Yes its an airpump it circulates oxygen in the water. Try a filter also so your water can be clear and remove toxins from the water.
