A billion dollar industrie to invest in? Australia?

what is a good industry to invest in, within australia. Im looking for a long term investment, although it will be little money im investing, just to turn it into a few more dollars over time. What is a good industry to invest in this time.

How about a multi-billion dollar industry?  Minining.  The two largest companies are BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto.  Both are trading lower than they have been.  The market cap between the two is just shy of 400 billion.  Their reveue 73 billion annually.

geothermal and energy research focusing on south australia. sooner or later renewable energy will take over, and south australia has the most potential in the world for this. theyre owned 30% by origin energy too so they wont go bankrupt.
