A bin file is missing in AVG 08 free how do i fix it?

Its already OK! Try updating your AVG. If it doesn't work, re-install it. And for sure when you update it, it will push through. How would I know? I've already done it awhile ago.

The simplest way is to uninstall the current program and reinstall it. If that doesn't fix it, your copy of AVG 08 is faulty. Delete it and down load it again.

I came across the same problem but got it sorted.

1 - Start up AVG,click Update Now.

2 - The list of updates is shown in Popup, click on the more information link.A list of updates will be shown.

3 - Click on and save all updates in a file except the last one - http://downloadfree.avg.com/update/u7iav... - because this is causing the problem.

4 - Cancel the update and instead click on Tools > Update from Directory and go to the file where you saved the updates.Install these and AVG should be working properly again.

If it is causing AVG not to run just re-install AVG again it it will correct it.
