A birthday present for a cat?

Question

Alright, I'm not crazy, I love my kitten lots and it's his first birthday in three days.

What should I get him? I doubt he would even know it's his birthday after all he is a cat =/

I do kinda treat him as my child lol.

Okay, back to the point, any suggestions so I can spoil my kitten?

For my cats birthday I usually buy him a cat pate or expensive brand of food for lunch with a bowl od bead soaked in water then put in the bowl with some milk. I also buy them gifts, one that works well is a climbing post but if you wanted something less expensive you could get a treat ball. My cats love playing with it until it runs out of treats.

Hi,I treat my cat as my child too.

Some pet shops will have like xmas stockings  filled with toys that you can buy or you could make your own, filling one with lots of toys and treats. "Pets at home" do a good  selection of toys. check out there web page for the nearest store to you.

Get him something he can play with or in.  Like a cat scratch pole if you don't have one.  What about one of those furry blankets that hang on a radiator.  Treat him to some fresh fish, a little piece of salmon or tuna, or prawns ( my cats fave!!) and some cream!!

Its not silly.  He's your pet and you love him!  We treat all our pets - snakes, blue tongued lizard, ferrets, hamster, spiders, rats, and cats!! They all get spoilt rotten!!

Get it a can of posh pet food like Hi-Life 70% tuna flakes or chicken pate or go all out and spoil it with it's faveourite meat product

fresh catnip or catmint plants - our cats love them! They are much better than buying the toys with dried catnip in.

I always get Christmas and birthday presents for my pets. Chews for the dog, and he has loads of those those knitted dolls. He loves Christmas and knows he's going to get at least three presents to tear the wrapping off. For the cat (departed now) I'd get gourmet cat food and cat toys. They are part of the family. They deserve presents.

hi you are not crazy i have a 1yr old pug and a 8 yr old persian cat and both my boys get birthday presents why not celebrate the birth of something you care so much about sooty(my cat) got a piece of home cooked salmon on his birthday this year give him something he really likes

my cat loved hers when she was a kitten, but nowadays she just goes to sleep on it lol
