A bit of help on trying to play an EASY song on my guitar ,any help,plz?

well like i started learning how to play the guitar like 5 days ago and my teacher tought me the major most common chords

wich are : C ,D ,E ,G ,and A you know ,and

like i feeeeeeel like i have already practiced like A LOT and i want to play a modern easy song like smoke on the water maybe one by Ryan Cabrera or maybe even one by the Click Five! [i love the click five] (old click five) well yeah my guitar is acoustic and i reeeeeeeeeeeally feel like playing an EASY but MODERN song like one people playing now i don't know someone like you know that guy who sings latin pop his name is Juanes maybe one by him i want to play a song BUT i went to ultimate-guitar.com and i tried checking it out AND I DID NOT UNDERSTOOOD ANYTHING of it it was just numbers and the thing

I feel the same way sometimes. When I started guitar, I was having trouble trying to find songs to play, but I would try finding out how to play guitar tabs, which is like really simple guitar sheet music. It is sometimes hard to find songs with the chords you use, but that is how you learn new ones. I untuned tom petty, free fallin, so it had the same idea, and sound, but not the same notes. It went: G C C C C C G D, and so on. the stuff on ultimate guitar is called tab, but when you learn how to read it, it is really fun and easy.
