Question:

A blug plug of some sort is unplugged hanging out under my glove box?

it is blue and just hanging out about 1 inch from the bottom of my glove box and I do not know what it is for. I looked under there and there is nothing that it can plug in to that I can see. what could it be? thanks in advance!

ps. i drive a 1996 honda accord 2 dr. ex 4cylinder

  1. That is a test plug for the electronic timing controls.  It shouldn't be plugged into anything, that's for diagnostics only.


  2. it is probably just a spare loose connector....

    the wiring in those cars have to suit a lot of models, so it is most likely an unused connector...dont stress

    but if something is not working in the car, maybe that is what connector is for

It's must likely a test plug that has fell,are it could be a spare plug.I don't think it would be your horn wire.First thing you need to do is check the fues for the horn to make sure it's ok If that checks out ok then raise your hood and make sure one of the wire's has'nt came a loose from the horn.Must cars as two horns on them .
