  1. Against.  By now most are interrelated - it's just a question of how closely.  New blood is needed - not to mention every monarchy need to understand its constituents better.  Which means someone from outside the circle needs to be included in the circle occasionally.

  2. As far as I am aware this hasn't been true, in the UK at least, for a very long time.

Princess Diana was not Royal, Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York), was not Royal, Sophie Wessex was not royal, Camilla Parker-Bowles was not Royal and neither of the two princes girlfriends are royal.

This was definitely true years ago and even our own Queen and Prince Philip are related but nowadays it is not like that.

  3. I'm against it for health reasons.  The royal families are too closely related as it is and by introducing some new blood, it would be very good.

Besides, there aren't that many royals left.

  4. There is really only one royal family in Europe.  Pretty much everyone with a title is related somehow.  They should really I hope the young royals will look outside their family when the get married.

  5. It dosent effect me im an Irishman and a republican

  6. against

  7. Against.  Far too small a gene pool, and we all know that as inbred as they all are, they can't afford to continue with that thought any longer.  It has not been true for at least one hundred years, and it has become even less important in this last generation...it is more important to marry someone who can handle the pressure, and who will bring fresh blood into the royal families.  Look at the difference in appearance between Charles and his own sons.  The boys are SO much healthier looking!

  8. This hasn't been true for some time! I'm against the notion,as are many royals. If that were the case, the UK would not have had their much loved Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother or Diana,Princess of Wales. Both were commoners, titled aristocrats, but non-royals none-the-less.
