There is good value in brass right now!  The link below gives you a few options.

Keep in mind many dealers have several location (even partnerships with other scrap yards).  So you could get an offer of $X per pound from one scrap yard across the state and only have to deliver the brass across town.

One of the big issues for scrap yards with bras though is the caliber of the brass and how clean it is when delivered.

Hey Brian I grew up there! My son lives there now.

Get on the phone to Alb. and find out who is a major recycler. There used to one on south Prince St. But your best bet is locate one either in Alb., Lubbock, or Amarillo. Brass scrap is high right now. Get quotes, then get it there.
