A break from the pill?

im currently on contraceptive pills and i wanted to know if i can take a break of few months or more from the pill, and go back on it later on if i start have s*x, is this a good idea for my body?

You can - you don't seem like you're trying to get pregnant (sorry if that seemed out of left field, you dont say your age) but just in case, know that just like the hormones take a little while to get in your system, they take a while to leave, so you might not conceive if you're only off for a month or so.  If that's not your thought then no worries at all, you can go off and on whenever you choose.


  2. Yes, it is fine. I went off for about six months. Just look forward to your b***s shrinking (if they got bigger) or so on. That made me go back on again.
