A bright future waiting for Lookoutforflash
Not many hounds usually start performing well right at start of the career, especially in the open class. It surely needs guts to cope up with the pressure at the top level.
Lookoutforflash is undoubtedly one of the great juveniles. Although victories have not yet come to his way frequently, the dashing novice is performing consistently well.
The blue and fawn dog belongs to a talented family. He is Hondo Black’s son out of Express Mist. Trainer, T. Soppitt would be very happy with his dog’s great progress.
The November-10 dog started his career in August, when he shared the podium despite getting crowded at the second bend. He continued his good work to run another two decent races at Nottingham.
He did not have to wait long for his first success. At the end of August, the young hound registered his first triumph, crushing the opposition in good style at Sunderland.
He got crowded at the very first bend, but did not let the situation get worse. Pumping up his speed in a great fashion, the maverick hound established his dominance well before the wire. He eventually seized the first place comfortably by one and a quarter
lengths.
Lookoutforflash recorded his second victory at Newcastle, where he easily stamped the opposition in the Dunham Greyhound Centre The Place For Schooling. By claiming the first place by 5¾ lengths, he bagged a handsome prize of 500 pounds.
He went through a lean patch after his second success. However, none of his defeats was disgraceful. After suffering a few unlucky losses, the speedy dog finally put his campaign back on the winning ways in mid October.
The audience at Newcastle saw him winning the Williamhill.com Stayers by three lengths. By beating the 5-4 favourite Mill Whiskers, he collected plenty of praise. Lookoutforflash got off to a wonderful start, taking a handy lead right at the first bend.
He never looked back thereafter, and consequently took the top prize with ease.
He has performed well at various venues, and this makes him different from other youngsters. Lookoutforflash is well capable of maintaining the standards over different distances. There is no doubt over his talent, and he needs just continue on in the good
fashion to create history.
