A bright green grasshopper has set on my window two days in a row and now hes got a dark brown area on head?

he leaves at night. he has changed slightly. he was all green . now this brown strip appeared. its creeping me out. what is he exactly and what is he doing?please ONLY serious answers !

im not sure what type he is , kind, ect. all i know is i never saw a grasshopper linger in a spot like that or change appearance. we live in the edge of a woods. im not quite certain IF its a grasshopper but i think it is. any information is welcome! thanks.

sounds like its molting getting older  maybe commin mature.. adult..its not gonna bite ya  most people dont get to see that .ur lucky..
