The picture looks real bright and blurry. Is that normal? If no, what can possible problem/remedy be? Also, it does not have a remote, how can I program the channels? TV works with cable remote, but can't make menu changes for tv.

  1. you will need to get a programmable remote, you can get one from walmart or the like for less than $10.  once you can access the menu, you may be able to address the brightness and blurriness.  there should be a brightness level you can adjust directly from the menu.  you should be able to adjust the convergence with is how the three colors (red, green, blue) overlap.  when they are not adjust properly you will get a blurry image.  this adjustment often times does not fix blurry image. on a projection tv the distance between the projector and the screen is critical, if that distance is not fixed and consistent, a clear, consistent picture is unlikely.  assuming the projector is still projecting properly and your screen distance is fine, you should be able to focus the projector from inside the unit.  projectors rarely go out of focus though, usually as your engine "goes out" you lose contrast and crisp sharp clarity.
