to late now. avoid going where he attacked you. next time u see him fight back. tell him ur spouse is a police officer and ur meeting him there

ewww...gross but i would tell the cops because alot of those bums are not mentally stable and he could attck someone else if no one reports him or worse...i saw this episode of law & order that a mentaly ill bum killed this lady for no reason just because he was having one of his fits...

Yes, you should report him. A lot of 'bums' have psychiatric illnesses, and being that they live the way they do, the vast majority are not taking the medication that they need.

There may be another reason for his behaviour, but, either way, it needs to be reported as soon as possible. As someone else said, it's likely that he will harm someone else if he isn't caught and treated/sent to hospital or whatever they decide to do with him.

You can either report it to the cops or keep it to yourself because this wasn't a serious offense, but I do suggest you be more careful next time and defend yourself so you don't get hurt. Hope this helps.

If he actually attacked you, yes, of course you should tell the police.  Not only tell them, but lodge an official protest against this guy.  Find out where he frequents and take the police there and point him out.

If you do not report him, he may harm someone, maybe a child.  You don't want THAT on your conscience.
