A bump/growth inside my nostril, on the septum/wall...Please help.?

Question

I have a bump in my right nostril that when I press hard and continuously, I sneeze, it is seemingly a growth of the septum in my nostril (Septum is the wall in the middle made of cartilage I presume and separating the two nostrils). Now, amazingly, I have had this bump for years and years, as far as I can remember, I found out about it back when I was alot younger than now (18 atm), possibly while picking my nose lol. I was curious as to what it was before as when I pressed it, it gave me a sneezy feeling culminating with a sneeze, and alot of relief, running nose temporarily too. Now this bump is almost completely obstructing my nasal passage, I assume, because compared to my left nostril, it is very much obstructed deeper into the nostril. I am SO GLAD I found out about it TODAY... as this is explaining my decreased breathing, occasional bouts of sleep discomfort as I wake up finding myself NOT BREATHING IN SLEEP SOMETIMES............ Also, most importantly, I have started having SERIOUS Headaches, on the right side of my head, under my ear, on the back and between my jaw, and around my right cheekbone/temple (pain elevating when I press)...........

I am going to assume this might have something to do with this bump inside my nostril, but if it doesn't, I still would like to know what IT IS, PLEASE, does anyone have an answer?

P.S Yes, I am going to a family doctor tomorrow.

I have the same thing. Some random pains in the right side of my face (jaw area) too.  I have to ask - how many of you are cell phone users?  And for how long?  Also, do you have metal dental fillings?  I have been using a cell phone for over 10 years mostly on the right side of my head and also have 3 metal dental fillings.  This is worrisome.  Anyone else get any answers on this?

 Do any or all of you use cellphones regularly or have metal dental fillings?  What side of the head are your fillings, and what side do you talk on your cell phone with?  I'm having the same problem and getting concerned...

hello, I ran across this and i have a pointed shaped knot near the midde of my nose where it seperates one side of the nose from the other. It seems to be in the corner between the nose and the middle that seperates it. I went to an ENT Dr and he told me that it was nothing to worry about that it was just part of my nose wall. But I wonder if its a bone spur being that I have one in my right heel. Also, I got in a mishap and ended up having to have my front tooth pulled which the tooth would have been straight below this knot like in  my nose.

 It seems many of us have the same problem. Well at least I am relieved it's not a tumour or else we wouldn't be around to write about this.

hi guys, i have similar problem but in LEFT portion. Headache in left half of head, forehead and behind left ear and discomfort in breathing. Most of the time the left nostril is blocked. We all are sharing our problems and symptoms, is there anyone who can advice cure also?

However, I found by daily brisk walk early in the morning, Steam inhaling for one to two minutes and Yoga (anulom vilom) for 10 minutes followed by Yoga (bhamiri) for 2minutes daily help me a lot to get rid of this problem up to 80%. I am doing it for last two weeks and I was suffering from the problem for last 5 years. You may also try it, but punctuality in above tips is must.

Oh my gosh. I have the same problem. I was looking it up on the computer and I came across your question. My right nostril is burning right now and there is a bump in it too. I think this has been going on for some time. I do recall earlier in the year off and on having a sharp pain where the bump is located. I just ignored it and thought I was a boogie or something. Just the past week the pain has gotten worst. I know I am gonna have to see my doctor on this one. I just hate to go if it isn't really anything. But it is bothering me so bad I won't have a choice.

I too had pain in my right temple, eye, cheek, jaw, and ear. I think it is from my neck however. A few years ago a boy flipped me in the back of the neck and I heard, as well as felt, something crack. Ever since I have had problems. So I don't believe the two are related. At least not for me.

I also have a "bump" in my nose, It is hard and lokated under the skin inside my nose, but more on the bone next to the septum,  and not directly on the septum I think, even though it pressing the septum away a little bit. Was your bump hard or soft? What did the doctor said?
