A buyer wants to pay me with a postal order but i don't know how they work ?

I have never used postal orders, how do they work when receiving them? will it cost me anything?

if you accept this method, i wouldn't ship the item to them until the check cleared.

Postal money orders are as safe as a bank cashiers check  or travelers checks because the money has to be paid before the money order is issued.

There is a cost to the purchaser but not to the recipient.

A postal order ( is a postal money order). You can cash it at the post office, and it won't cost you anything, you an also cash it at your bank.

Very easy to use, much better than a personal check.
