so I've go the electro harmnoix tube mic, it's running in to the new Apogee Duet, phantom power, and I'm running through Garageband's newest version on my Mac G4...
but.. there's a really loud buzzing sound audible whenever the mic is turned on. At first i thought it was my computer's fan, but it's not- moved the mic away. Is it possible that I just need a better XLR cable running from the output of the mic's power source into the Apogee duet?
any thoughts?! I'm learning...this is somewhat new to me- trying to get started recording a home album. Looking forward to suggestions...thanks!
