A cancer girl and an aries boy??

Ok, me and my boyfriend hav been goin out 4 ovr a month, and nothing has been going wrong. hes an aries and im a cancer. We've lasted longer then his last few girlfriends.

he matches the aries description perfectly and i match the cancer description perfectly. and complete opposites.

It's said that aries and cancer arent a good match. But it's also said that if they both listen to each other and work together, its a very good match. we talk and tell each other how we're feeling and evrything... and he obviously isnt thinking about dumping me, and im not going to dump him.

but do you think we could last?

Communication is definitely the key.  It's awesome that he's willing to listen to you so he must have really fallen quite deeply for you and/or he probably respects the fact that you do communicate with him.  Yes you can last if your feelings remain the same for each other and you continue to listen to each other.

He could hurt your feelings.  Aries don't always think before the speak.  If things go bad, like if you get into a fight, Aries are sort of heartless.  Cancer gets clingy when they feel insecure.  The Aries guy may push you away.

Yea it can definantly work out actually. I know married couples who are aries/cancer. And one of my best friends is a cancer and her boyfriend is an aries but theyve been going strong for about 4 years now.

Its true the aries (especially male) can be a little hard to handle but ill tell you once they fall for you theyll hold on to you. It maybe be hard to put a leash on him but they are very loyal to the people close to them.

So you should keep it going im sure the relationship will have its ups and downs but in the end it depends on how much you love each other that will keep you two together.

I am going to say no. It might last a long time, maybe even a few years, but I don't see you two getting married, at least not happily.

aries and cancer can get along and things will be nice for a while, but then things will fall apart later on. all relationship that start off nice, don't necessarily last long. it takes that stronger connection, you will realize you lack it with him sooner or later.

what it is: you two are NOT compatible. what it means to be in an uncompatible relationship: constant work. you say you both work now to keep communication open and to make things last. well the older you get the harder and harder you will have to work. sooner or later it will be all work, no fun, no actual love and just a burden. then you have a break up or divorce. enjoy things while they last, because they will gradually become more and more rocky.

and it takes 2 to make things last. so if he suddenly decides to give up on 'working' for this relationship, then things will fall apart. you have not been together long yet, so you will see what I mean later on. rule of thumb: a relationship can be considered serious if is has lasted longer than 6 months and both of you have accepted each other as 'family' and not just lovers. I don't see you two making it past this marking period though.
