  2. What makes you think any of them will float?

    Floating is about density, you need to have a density less than water to float.  if they all have the same mass but that mass is far more than their volume, their densities will all be greater than water and therefore all sink.

    A bowl is interesting because it only needs to displace more than its mass... it can have a denisty greater than water but still float because it displaces water outward.  This is how a boat floats.

  3. The laws of voyancy say that the ball and the bowl will float due to their shape and contents, in other words a bowls, balls density is less rhan waters allowing it to float.

  4. according to law of flotation a body floats on water if the weight of the body is equal to liquid displaced
