    However, you can use a simple kinematics equation to solve this problem. distance = (initial velocity)(time) + 1/2 (acceleration)(time^2)

    So say for the first 10s. The answer would be

    d=(9.5)(10) + 1/2(6.2)(10^2)

    d=405m


  2. Then V(0)=9.5 m/sec,so the eqation of displacmnt is X=1/2at^2+V(0).

    X=1/2(6.2)(12^2)+9.5(12)=446.4+114=560... meters.
