  1. You can't donate what you don't own, and the car that was left behind isn't yours, so you can not donate it or sell it.

You can call towing companies in your area and see if anyone will do a private property impound tow on an abandoned vehicle without charging you.  Some companies won't because of the amount of work it is, some will buy want to charge you.  Out of 4 companies in my small county, I'm the only one that will do PPI towing and jump through all the hoops.

Do you really think your dead beat tenant that you had to force out will pay the tow company for the tow and storage?  At best they will do all the work, then a second tow to the crusher after the work of draining all fluids and pulling the fuel tank, and get perhaps $200, so they won't pay you for coming to get it.

Keep calling until you find one that will come and get it.

  2. It's worth about $500 just for scrap.  Try to get them to give you $200 for it.

There are people who advertise "I pick up scrap" in your local newspaper classifieds.  Call them.

  3. List it on craigs list....with pictures.....

A black dude will give you $800 for it.....it worked for me....

  4. There are several charities that accept donations of vehicles. They usually take cars in any condition and they will tow it away for free. Some of them can even give you a receipt for a tax deduction for the value of the car, since it is a donation to a non-profit charity.

  5. Yea scrap it - scrap places will pay $500 for a non running car - even without titles some places in Missouri do that (I am unaware if it's legal or not but they run ads all the time)

  6. You need to go through channels. Better check with an attorney or some legal entity. It's called conversion which is similar to stealing.

  7. DONATE IT  TO CHARITY  I THINK THEY HAVE THAT DOWN THERE.. AND U GET SOME $ BACK ON UR TAXES.

  8. First, contact your local law enforcement agency to determine whether, or not, the vehicle may be stolen.  Once determined it is not, then call almost any towing company requesting a private property trespass tow.  Just be aware that a reputable towing company will not charge YOU any fees for hauling the vehicle away.

  9. I'm sure you can find a local salvage shop who will pick it up for free, h**l..some of them will even pay you for it.
