Question

How much should a 2 month old cat eat and drink in one day. because hes eating and drinking every 5 mins but little portions each time .

It's normal for a little 2 month old cat to drink and eat that much..I had newborn cats and yea i thought something was wrong but no..its normal :)

You might want to talk to your vet. She may have something going on inside of her you cant see.

If your kitten is only 8 or 9 weeks old it should still be on mother's milk. It may be eating frequently in an attempt to get nutrients and fat. Your grocery store will carry kitten milk (in a can). Supplement what you're feeding your kitten with the milk. Don't use cow's milk, cats are allergic to it and can become quite sick. When your kitten is around 12 weeks it can be weaned off the kitten milk. Make sure you feed your kitten a quality kibble, and quality wet food for a long life.

I fix my cat a bowl of dry cat food in the mornings and a big bowl of fresh water and he eats just a little at a time, but he eats on it all day.

A 2 month old cat will probably eat all you put out for him :o) Is he a rescue cat? Has he been without regular food for awhile? Kittens need to be fed 3 or 4 times a day just like kids and they need fresh water all the time. Is he excessively skinny or too fat? If he is really thin he might have a health problem or worms. If he is seriously eating every five minutes he probably needs a Dr. visit but if he is just eating a lot I wouldn't worry about him until he starts to get too fat.
