A certain p-channel JFET has a Vgc(off) = 6V. What is Id when Vgs = 8V?

  1. I am not familiar with the term "Vgc(off)".

    I will assume that you mean Vgs(off).  For a Vgs(off) of 6V, any higher voltage on a P-channel JFET will keep it off, so the Id would be zero.
