My class decided since it was a Friday, they would rather leave early than go over the formulas of what our weekend homework was for. So, now I'm stuck and have no idea what to do. Any help at all is appreciated.

  1. D) Not enough info given

  2. Use Gauss' Law:

    Φ(E) = q/ε0

Since the charge is at the center, the flux through each face is the same, so the flux through one face is

    Φ(1 face) = q/6ε0 = 12e2.26-6 C/(6*8.85e-12 C^2*N^-1*m^-2) = 2.26e-5 N*m^2/C
