A charity where i can donate used clothes?

sometimes i throw out barely used clothing and feel bad because there are people who don't even have any kind of clothing :(

is there some kind of charity place that is 100% real and the clothes will go to the needy? (in NEW york city)

take them to goodwill or the salvation army.  Your clothes do get sold afterwards, but all profits go to charity as well as providing clothing very cheap for people on lower incomes.

Any rape/domestic violence shelter

Soroptomists International (They have a program for work wear for women re-entering the workforce)
