  1. there are lots of powerfull cars you can buy for 10 grand but do u really need the horse power NOT youll probably kill yourself  mustanges with a 5.0 ltr engine would be ok you could find one of them resoanable priced i my self like 350 chevys parts are easy to find and produce enough horse power for the street look for a classic car you should be able to find and older sports car for 10 grand or less good luck and drive save

  2. You should try governement auctions, you can get a car that is fast and powerful and cheap like an eclipse or even a porche.

Most of the newer cars suck unless you have 60,000 or more.

  3. You have virtually no driving experience, yet like so many youngsters, you want a 300 plus horsepower car that will hit a top speed of at least 150 mph.  I have one answer for you.

    DON'T!!

You have no skills, no experience, and little sense.  Muscle cars like a Mustang will be very expensive to insure and get terrible gas mileage.  Do you really even NEED a car?  If not, I would save my money and learn about investments.  Then really work on growing your money until you turn 18 years of age.  Insurance rates will drop some until you are 21 years of age.  You can verify this with a call to an auto insurance company.

Don't blow this large amount of money on a car that will continue to suck your wallet dry each month.

I was on probation for a year a long time ago.  Too many points against my driver's license.  I accumulated 13 points for speeding, running a red light, and running a stop sign.  At 10 points they could have easily just pulled my license.  Worse year of my life.

Save your money, buy a car that is easy on gas and insurance.  Walk or ride a bicycle when ever possible.  Save and invest your money.  No greater security than money in the bank.  Don't worry about so called image.  No one really cares anyway.  In the long run you will be better off.

  4. Mustang GT. You will also need 300 a month for insurance.

  5. my suggestion to you would be to get a ford mustang... v8 of course .. buy used you could get a very nice one for that much money... any then there are alot of modifications you can do to them... I actually own a 1992 and a 2005 mustang... both v8 both great and fun to drive

  6. you don't even have enough to buy a new, average car. fast cars (even used ones) go for $15,000 and up. and if you manage to find one,  the car will be 20 years old or has a mileage of over 150,000 mph. then you will be paying more and more to fix broken parts. save it for now until you get enough to purchase what you want.

  7. Well there's several things to take into consideration. If you live up north where it snows a bit, I would recommend something that's not RWD and instead get something that's FWD or AWD. But of course if you do get a RWD car be careful because it's less forgiving on snow, ice and rain. Another thing to think about is how much insurance is going to be. If your parents are paying for it now, would you want to pay that high insurance rate after you're out of the house and on your own (it sucks)? Also, what about gas mileage? A V-8 engine will rape your wallet. Again, if you're parents will be paying for it now, will you want to take over paying for gas after you're on your own? I'm not going to say go and get a Honda or something like that but there are some other options. Personally, I never would've thought about Mazda until I drove my girlfriend's. I'm 21 and have a 2000 BMW 323i and even though I love the car, I'm considering a Mazda6 as my next car. It's a little bigger than the Mazda3, but it does offer great safety features, FWD, it's also pretty sporty looking and you can find a good number of them for around $10k. It's in a 4 or 6-cylinder so if you want the HP, get the V6 and insurance still won't be too bad. Another good choice could be a Pontiac G6. Well that's just my 2 cents on the topic. Good luck on finding a car!
