Question:

A cheap place to buy cigarettes in Vancouver, BC?

I want to buy a carton of cigarettes. I just got back from 5 months in Mexico where you can buy one for less than 20$... its a bit of a culture shock!

Anyhow, where is the cheapest place to buy a carton here? Walmart?

I have no idea. I don't want to have to buy a membership somewhere either, (like Costco) please keep that in mind.

Thanks for your help!

  1. The cheapest places to buy are online internet tobacco shops.

Me and all of my friends who smoke buy from http://www.cigoutlet.net/. no membership, no taxes, everything is confidential.

  2. The sole reason for the vast pricing difference is the tax rate in Vancouver versus Mexico.  That being saidm you can shop around a bit and find a few cents' savings at WalMart or even some short-term bargain sales at gas stations and convenience stores.  When it is legally available, the least expensive option would be buying online, as those merchants find loopholes (at least temporarily) to government fees, and are able tooffer larger discounts.

You can see some options here:

    www.tproducts.com

    www.hot-cigs.com

    smokingtrip.hut1.ru/cheap_cigarette_on...

  3. I dunno, Pharmasave, Shoppers Drug Mart... maybe SaveOn is cheap. Probably any drug store (Shoppers and SaveOn has memberships but it's not required so you can walk in and get some there but just an extra amount b/c of no membership, yet Pharmasave has no membership as far as I know)
