A cheap website from which i could buy a shortboard?

begginer, who has mastered a foamy, and a pop up!! and i really want to progress onto a shortboard! if anyone could point me in the direction of a 6'10" shortboard it would be much appreciated!

Hey I recently was looking for a a board and it took ages to find a good site but i finaly found a good website. To save you the time here it is lol :) http://www.secondhandboards.com/ they are used secondhand ones but are still in great condition and are very cheap compared to brand new ones hope this helped. You don't want to buy a board on the web. You simply do not know enough, and it would end up being a waste. You need to go to a surf shop and talk to the people there, and they should be able to point you in the direction of a good board. And go to a real surf shop, not a bathing suit store, a place where the people know what they are talking about. They can determine what size and type of board is right for you AND the spots you're going to be surfing, which is just as important.

EDIT* And you definately don't want to buy a USED board on the web, just send me the couple hundred you'd spend on a used one from the web, cause thats a complete waste.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy a board on-line. You have progressed enough to want a decent board, so do yourself a favor an go to a good local surf shop. The folks there will help you find a board that matches the local breaks, your size, your skill level and your budget. depending on where you live, there might be great local shaper who has made (or will custom make) just the right stick for you. I agree with Chris K, just send US the money, 'cause you are going to waste it with an on-line purchase!

I have been surfing for 42 years, and there is d%#n little surf gear that I would trust buying on line.
