A child apparition?

Question

It started about 11/2 mos. after we moved into our apartment. That was nearly a year ago. I never said anything as not to scare family members.

I've heard pitter pattering of feet as if she's running.She stops when she knows I'm listening. I've never seen her but, I feel she's a lil girl. Last friday, my spouse saw a little girl standing next to me while i was sleeping. As soon as my spouse saw her the little girl ducked down. Of course my wife freaked. My daughter was fast asleep in her bedroom

Do you know anything about former residence of the home or the property itself?  God forbid, but have you and your wife suffered a loss of a child, premature or full term?  I would check into the history of the home.  You might be surprised what you find.

My answer is this It's more likely you have a squirrel infestation.If you contact a legitimate Paranormal investigater.That would be the first thing they check.Here though,most will jump right on the ghost band wagon.

Sounds so much like an experience that I had in one of my previous apartments.  You don't by any chance live in TX?  I would talk to the leasing office about this.  Ask them the history of your apartment.  Have any of the previous tenants died, or had children that died.  If they are not hurting you or trying to scare you I would just let them be.

Research, yes I know. Ask other people around the apartment building if anything ever happened in or around your apartment. If that leads to a dead end, then go to property and death records.

It seems that she might be drawn to your wife(motherly figure).

If you just want her to go on ask her or have your wife ask her to leave or cross over.

The other thing does she resemble your daughter at all? There could be more to this than a possible haunting

She needs to cross over. She probably doesn't know she is dead. If you know some one who is psychic or a medium you should get them to get in touch with her, let her know that she can cross over and be taken care of.

ive had many similar experiences and the fact that you "feel" her is exxelent evidence but be carful---if u ever feel a hint of hostility look into prayers and such as protection it could b demonic in diguse----any further questions im always ready to listen

the girl is obviously wearing an invisibility cloak.....when you sense her, dive towards her and rip off her cloak.

call a reputable ghost investigation group and ask them to investigate.  make sure to ask them for references.

At least it's a little girl (hopefully) . Are you walking when you hear this...or sitting down or standing? If you're walking ..could be something on the soles(sp) of your shoes. But, that wouldn't explain what/who your wife saw. Had your wife been sleeping too? The skeptics will say "sleep paralysis"..so can you clear that up..say if she was up and awake? (just to eliminate those comments, if possible)

Anyway..research the history of your house and the land that it's on. (That's what the psychics etc. on here always say to do.) The land we're on used to have a bunch of cows...but haven't seen any yet . (except a real one that got loose from somewhere one night & came into our yard) (of course the police thought it was a prank call at first) lol When your daughter starts to see her..or your dog...you can be pretty sure she's really there. (If you don't have a dog..maybe you should get one...before you pay to have a psychic etc. help you.)

had a similar experience in previous house....

was able to "sense" some information around the child....

this child was abused and needed help crossing over..

Well it could be. I would try asking around or trying to track down some former owners and ask them if they seen anything while there. Look out for a spirit. If it starts bothering you or scaring your daughter I would try calling someone and see if they can come up with anything.

Try talking to her like she is part of the family.

Get your tape recorder ready, and introduce yourself, and the names of your wife and child, then ask her what her name is.

Ask her how old she is.

Ask her about her favorite toys.

Ask her about her family.

I think if you were to act like she's important to you, then you won't have any negative issues with her.

It would be interesting to know how they view us?

Like if we are transparent like ghosts to them, or if we are solid like we see ourselves.

Do you remember if she was wearing clothing from a different period, or something rather recent?

If you can't find any history about the building, find out if there is a cemetery within a mile of your residence, or the scene of a tragic accident.

OK, so you hear things, but only when you're not listening?  You "feel" she's a little girl?  And your spouse sees things that immediately disappear (and after waking from sleep)?

This is not what I would consider to be compelling evidence.  Keep looking though.
