A childrens book...?

I can't remember the title, but I read it when I was younger and would love for my brother to read it.

They were doing a news cast, the weather I believe and it was raining food. It was raining mashed potatoes one minute, and then pancakes and other things.

If anyone knows the title I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett, I think. I loved that when I was little! Hope your brother does too!
