My little sister is getting her room re-done soon. She has no idea what to paint it though. She wants something bright with colours that will look good with white.

  1. Why not stick with white painted walls then wallpaper one feature wall - you could show her a selection and let her choose. This way she can select something she likes but it can also be stylish enough to last through her teens.

If she loves colours then let the accessories do the talking!

    For example a coloured chandelier

    A funky mirror...

    and bright cushions

    Fun wallpaper...

Alternatively, if she's a girlie girl though a more floral wallpaper might be appropriate, like this...

and decorate with lovely jewellery holders and mirrors...

Hope this helps a little! x

  2. purple and blue

  3. pink+brown+white is one of my favorite combos. you can play a bit with the kid aspect (pink) as well as put a bit of maturity (brown)  white is just classic ;)

if pink is not your sister's fav color then you can put a light blue instead.

you could also go powerpuff girls color themed ( without actually being the powerpuff girls)  meaning that you could have a light green, blue and pink (with white) and it would look nice.

  4. orange and pink and green

does look really nice with white :) x

  5. Pink (or baby pink)

    Red
