A company that i worked for s refusing to pay me the hours i worked.. how do i get my check???

i worked for a home improvement company (ohio builder resources) as a marketer.. and basically they are refusing to pay me half of my paycheck for hours i worked.. so i filed a complaint with the bbb.. and im wondering if i should contact the local police fraud dept.. anyone have any good advice or been in this situation before and collected??

This is a civil matter and the police will not be able to do anything for you.

You need to go to your  state labor board. They have a way to file a claim for unpaid wages.

I don't remember the exact name but it will be the state labor board.
