  1. Don't do it !!!

  2. It may well be legal, but it would be foolish in the extreme to give any of this.

  3. I would never do that.

  4. Depends on the site and what you are doing,.

If you are applying for a loan I would expect this.

If you are buying shoes then it's slightly dubious

Is the web site a popular site?

  5. No!  cancel your credit card!  This is a typical Phish/ID theft scenario.

  6. I wouldn't send them anything. You are the customer. If they want more than your card details I would shop somewhere else.

  7. This sounds like Phishing for information so that they can commit Identity Theft.  DON"T send the information and you should seriously consider cancelling the credit card.  Call the credit card company to get a new account number.

  8. I wouldn't give them a thing! It's very unusual for them to ask for those things and it sounds like a scam.

Call the 1-800 number on the back of your card to confirm this information. If the credit card company says it wasn't them asking for the info, have them close the card immediately and give you a new card.

Also, if it is a scam, notify the police right away. I've had my identity stolen before and trust me, you don't want it to happen to you.

  9. do not give them any detail what so so ever
